Middle School

Middle School comprises students from approximately Years 3 to 6. The Middle School program is based on the Australian Curriculum, with adjustments supported by a multidisciplinary team of teachers and allied health professionals.

Middle School is a crucial time for developing formal literacy and numeracy skills from the foundations established in earlier years, as well as fostering the social emotional learning necessary for increased resilience and independence.

This is achieved in a well-supported environment through a mix of whole class activities and small group work that caters for individual student’s needs. Learning is further enhanced by opportunities for students to take part in excursions, camps and a range of school-based extracurricular activities.
